Vintage 4-bowl oryoki / takuhatsu set in urushi lacquer

A delicate, signed 4 bowl oryoki set in dark brown urushi lacquer from the late Edo or early Meji period with a beautiful “wabi-sabi” feel to it. There are cracks in the lacquer, so it is most likely not to be regarded as “food safe”. but, if you want, we can have an artisan close those cracks using “kintsugi”.
